BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal easily coasted into a second term with a landslide victory.
He captured 66 percent of the vote, despite facing nine opponents.
Jindal spoke to supporters just before in Baton Rouge just before 9 p.m.
He talked about not taking a break while holding the office.
"I don't believe in it," Jindal said. "I don't believe in being complacent. I don't believe in wasting one single moment. I'll use every day, every hour of these next four years to make Louisiana the very best that we can be."
Many supporters were on stage with him, including LSU head football coach Les Miles.
Jindal did not have any well-known or well-funded opposition.
Tara Hollis was the closest competitor, but only received 18 percent of the vote.
