HENDERSON CO., KY (WFIE) - A Henderson woman is arrested on her way to pick up her child from school with a meth lab and whiskey in her car.
The Henderson County Sheriff's Office says they stopped to talk to Melissa Miller while she was filling up her tank at a gas station near Beals.
According to the release, deputies could smell alcohol on Miller's breath.
Miller told officers that she had a couple of drinks and was on her way to pick up her kid from school.
Deputies say they noticed a bottle of whiskey laying in the seat of Miller's car, along with items to make meth.
After a search, deputies found meth, paraphernalia, a one-pot meth lab and a bag of trash with a used one-pot inside.
Miller was taken to the Henderson County Jail and charged with driving under the influence, manufacturing meth, possession of anhydrous and drugs.
