HENDERSON CO., KY (WFIE) - A Henderson woman is arrested on her way to pick up her child from school with a meth lab and whiskey in her car.

The Henderson County Sheriff's Office says they stopped to talk to Melissa Miller while she was filling up her tank at a gas station near Beals.

According to the release, deputies could smell alcohol on Miller's breath.

Miller told officers that she had a couple of drinks and was on her way to pick up her kid from school.

Deputies say they noticed a bottle of whiskey laying in the seat of Miller's car, along with items to make meth.

After a search, deputies found meth, paraphernalia, a one-pot meth lab and a bag of trash with a used one-pot inside.

Miller was taken to the Henderson County Jail and charged with driving under the influence, manufacturing meth, possession of anhydrous and drugs.
