RIDGELAND, MS (WLBT) -

A heart warming story of love unfolded Christmas Day.

A young couple renewed their vows in a surprise proposal and wedding beneath a billboard on County Line Road.

Around 2:15 Christmas Day and James Robinson stood in the parking lot of Raising Cane's near a digital billboard that would ask his wife Rebecca to marry him all over again.

"I'm nervous, but I hope I get the reaction I've been looking for," said Robinson.

They have been married for five years.

He said his first proposal wasn't what dreams were made of and she deserved more.

"She was always there when I needed her. she always had my back, so I knew then she was the one," said the excited groom.

Twenty five year old Rebecca was brought to the location by her best friend and matron of honor Liz Evans.

She is unaware that over the past three weeks James had bought the engagement ring she recently spotted, organized the gathering and sprang for the billboard.

After being guided to across the Raising Cane's parking lot, James removed the Santa cap covering her eyes to reveal the digital image.

It is a picture of their wedding day from April 2006.

James is on his knee looking up at Rebecca while holding her hand.

She screamed and turned around to see more than a dozen people around her in the parking lot.

The answer again is yes to her husband, as she buries her tear filled face into his chest.

Family and friends are there to witness the ceremony.

It wasn't quite the gift she expected this year.

"Oh my God really James. I was just shocked. I didn't know. I thought it was a motorcycle or something. I never expected this," said Rebecca.

James, a 27 year old Ridgeland barber, went to his best friend Myron Evans, who kept the secret for weeks.

"I want to do it on Christmas Day. I said ok. Where are we going to do it? He said 'Man we're going to stand right there in front of Cane's. We got a billboard.' I said 'Did you call the people?' He said 'Yeah'," said the very calm best man.

Rebecca works next door at Honey Baked Hams.

Matron of Honor Liz had the tough job of getting her here.

"She was freaking out. She was so nervous. She was saying what is it? What is it? The anticipation is killing me. I said you've just got to come with me," said Liz.

"I thought the billboard was wonderful and very romantic. I never had a wedding performed like this though. Most of them I've done in trailers or in buildings somewhere," Brother Charles Ray who drove from Yazoo City in the rain to performed the renewal ceremony.

"Yes definitely yes. Fresh start, start over, New Year together, yes definitely," said Rebecca.

"Everything turned out perfect. God held the rain off for me. We don't have any kids yet, but this may be the year," said James with a laugh.

"God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, and this is just an example of what love can do," said Brother Ray.

Christmas 2011 will be will be remembered by Rebecca and James for years to come.
