Mayweather tweets gambling ticket showing Bama wager

LAS VEGAS, NV (RNN) – Boxer Floyd Mayweather enjoyed the result of Monday's BCS National Championship, after winning more than $300,000 on the football game.

Mayweather, nicknamed "Money," posted a picture of a receipt apparently from the M Resort on his Twitter account around midnight. He made a straight wager on the Alabama Crimson Tide to win.

The undefeated, five-division world champion's $400,000 wager paid $333,333.35. He added "Just won $400k on Alabama, the new National Champs. Congrats to both teams!" on his post.

His Twitter account shows he frequents the M Resort Sports Book and bets on several sports. Several pictures of tickets since Dec. 13 are seen, with wagers ranging from $30,000 to $400,000.

Mayweather likely would not be too concerned if he had lost. He has made more than $20 million as a boxer – multiple times.

He also does not play favorites with Alabama and state rival Auburn, at least when it comes to gambling. Mayweather successfully bet $80,000 on the Tigers in their Chik-fil-A Bowl game, played Dec. 31.
