CBSSports.com attributed its information to a confirmed report in the Notre Dame Observer.
The Indiana native is considered by many as the top pro-style quarterback coming out of high school.
LSU head coach Les Miles has a news conference scheduled for afternoon to wrap up the season and talk about plans for the spring.
However, you can bet he'll be asked about this latest development involving his one time top- recruit.
