Les Miles said he is ready to move onto next season starting with Tuesday afternoon's team meeting after the first day of classes.
However, fans still want answers to so many questions about that BCS title collapse. Reporters got the chance to ask away at Miles' news conference.
Miles addressed losing 5-star quarterback Gunner Kiel to Notre Dame, saying it was understandable the Indiana prep star decided to stay close to home, backing out on his commitment to LSU on the eve of the start of the semester.
Mostly, there were more questions for Miles about refusing to play Jarrett Lee and sticking with Jordan Jefferson in the Superdome defeat.
The LSU offense mustered only five first downs, a total of 92 yards and just one trip past the 50-yard line in the rematch with Alabama. The Tigers also turned the ball over twice.
Miles basically gave the same kind of explanation as right after the game, denying anything unusual took place with his players before the game or any personal vendetta or undisclosed reason factored into keeping Lee from playing in the final game that left such a bad taste for Tiger fans.
