SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -
A Shreveport man was reportedly pistol-whipped at his home early Tuesday morning.
According to Shreveport Police, the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. at a home in the 4100 block of Powell St. The victim told police he opened his door for the suspect
The victim was taken to LSU Health Shreveport with non-life threatening injuries to his head. Police said nothing was stolen from the home.
Detectives have not released a suspect description, but they believe it could be someone the victim knew.
